Triece Gignilliat Ziblut is a partner at RTZ Law. She has practiced commercial and residential real estate law for over 20 years, serving a variety of clients including purchasers, sellers, homebuilders, developers, lenders and title insurance companies. She is a member of the Savannah Bar Association and the State Bars of Georgia and South Carolina.
Triece works with buyers and sellers of residential property to help them through the inspection and closing process. She also assists commercial clients in creating and executing plans to acquire, develop, divest and finance real property. She works with lenders to structure and document unique financing transactions, loan modifications and work outs. She also counsels property owners on permitting and enforcement matters involving construction of docks, homes and renovations on marsh and beach front property in coastal Georgia.
Triece advised the real property foundation for Armstrong Atlantic State University for many years as it developed over $90 million in campus improvements, including student housing, recreational facilities and the Armstrong Center. Each project involved significant due diligence review, coordinating the Board of Regents approval process, drafting construction contracts, ground leases, rental agreements, title and loan documents for public and private bond financing.
A former partner with the law firm of Hunter Maclean for more than 15 years, Triece led the firm’s Real Estate Practice Group from 2006 to 2009 and served as the head of the Residential Real Estate Group.
